Objective (Summary of Duties):

Organizing and implementing business affairs, maintaining commercial relations with national departments and traders, and monitoring the market to achieve the company’s objectives.


Authorities and Job Responsibilities:

Specialized Duties:

  1. Prepare and develop work plans in alignment with the overall company plan to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Identify opportunities to enhance effective and beneficial relations with governmental departments, national and international traders for procurement and import of relevant commercial goods.
  3. Obtain cooperation and coordination with governmental institutions and the private sector to strengthen business relations and develop commercial activities.
  4. Ensure comprehensive market analysis for the export and import of company products.
  5. Establish communication and coordination with relevant internal and external departments of the company to ensure better organization and implementation of tasks.
  6. Develop the company’s strategic plan considering SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) and identify potential risks.

Managerial Duties:

  1. Design and develop the company’s trade guidelines to increase company revenue.
  2. Assist in preparing and developing the company’s long-term business plan based on available capacity and capability.
  3. Implement oral and written instructions and directives from company leadership.
  4. Prepare and submit work reports in accordance with regulatory documents and policies to the relevant authority.
  5. Perform any other duties assigned by authorized officials in accordance with laws, regulations, and company objectives.

Coordination Duties:

  1. Ensure coordination among different departments of the organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Maintain communication and coordination with relevant sections for better execution of assigned tasks.
  3. Establish effective working relationships with local authorities, security agencies, municipalities, and other relevant bodies.

Education, Experience, and Required Skills:

Candidates meeting the following minimum requirements will be shortlisted:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Public Administration, Management and Commerce, or other related fields.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Work Experience (Type and Duration):

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience for Master’s degree holders.

Other Skills:

  • Full proficiency in speaking and writing in one of the national languages (Pashto or Dari) and good knowledge of English.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, Outlook) and other relevant office and internet programs.
  • Full knowledge of applicable national laws related to the field of work.
  • Ability to establish professional communication with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
