Construction of the New Chain Store of the State -Owned Corporation of Arzaq Progresses Rapidly
The construction of a new chain retail store by the State -owned Corporation of Arzaq, operating under the General Directorate of State-Owned Companies, is progressing rapidly. According to company officials, the store is expected to be completed and officially opened in the near future.
Company officials stated that once the store becomes operational, it will make it easier for the public to purchase food supplies. In addition, it will create new employment opportunities and play an important role in expanding the company's economic activities.
Engineer Obaidullah Karimi, Head of the Real Estate Directorate, said that 48 percent of the construction work has been completed so far. He added that the store is being built to standard specifications on an 85-square-meter plot adjacent to the entrance of the company's central office. The building will initially have one floor, with a second floor planned for future expansion.
It is worth noting that the State -owned Corporation of Arzaq intends to gradually rebuild and reactivate its chain retail stores under a new strategy aimed at improving public access to food supplies, creating employment opportunities, and helping stabilize food prices in the market.
