In Uruzgan Province, 17 types of food items were sent to Prof. Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences.
According to its core activities, commercial plan, and the approved plan for the current fiscal year, the Uruzgan state-owned corporation of Arzaq sent 17 essential food items to the Prof. Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences yesterday.
Akhtar Mohammad Shirzi, Director of Food in Uruzgan Province, said these items were prepared and sent to meet the one-month needs of the institute’s students.
Shirzi added that dry goods (pulses) were sent all at once, while fresh items are delivered daily.
He stated that the food items include:
- 825 kg of dry bread
- 212 kg of rice
- 66 kg of cooking oil
- 16.5 kg of salt
- 99 kg of beans
- 24.75 kg of sugar
- 24.75 kg of powdered milk
- 3.3 kg of tea
- 49.5 kg of soft beef
- 24.75 kg of onions
- 49.5 kg of fresh eggplants
- 99 kg of potatoes
- 82.5 kg of okra
- 82.5 kg of black eggplants
- 825 g of pot spices
- 82.5 kg of ghee
- 412.5 kg of apples
Additionally, 90.75 kg of liquid cooking gas was also sent to the institute.
It is noteworthy that the process of delivering and distributing food items by the Uruzgan state-owned corporation of Arzaq is continuously monitored and evaluated nationwide by the provincial directors of the company.
