Job Purpose (Summary):
To protect the company’s assets and capital, and ensure financial stability by identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and reducing potential risks.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans according to the department plan and monitor their implementation.
• Identify and assess potential financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments using quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand possible impacts and give a clear risk picture for different departments.
• Work closely with the Finance Directorate and related departments to align risk management with company goals.
• Take appropriate actions to reduce financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with company goals, financial regulations, internal procedures, and risk management frameworks.
• Prepare and present clear risk reports to the Finance Directorate, highlighting key issues for relevant departments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, compliance, and legal departments to understand their risk exposure and implement risk management strategies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by authorized officials according to company laws and policies.
Education, Experience, and Required Skills:
Education:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration, or other related fields. A relevant master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
• At least 1–2 years of related work experience for bachelor’s degree holders.
Other Skills:
• Strong speaking and writing skills in Dari or Pashto, and good familiarity with English.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, QuickBooks, and other necessary office programs.
• Skills in financial risk management and general management.
• Strong knowledge of national laws (Labor Law, State-Owned Companies Law, Arzaq Company Charter, etc.).
• Ability to communicate professionally with government and non-government entities.
• Strong communication and understanding skills.
