Chief Executive Officer of the State Food Supplies Company Conducts Official Visit to Northern and Northeastern Provinces
Mawlawi Abdul Razaq Rafi, Chief Executive Officer of the State -owned Corporation of Arzaq under the General Directorate of State-Owned Companies, conducted an official fifteen-day visit to the company's provincial food supply offices in the northern and northeastern provinces of Afghanistan.
The purpose of the visit was to assess administrative affairs, review the implementation of infrastructure projects, evaluate the condition of the company's properties and assets, and identify and address existing challenges.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Haji Fazl Mohammad Saleh, Director General of Inspection; Haji Toriyalai Mohammadi, Director General for the Implementation of Provincial Accounts; and Rahmani Omir, Secretary of the Presidency. Mawlawi Abdul Razaq Rafi visited the provincial State -owned Corporation of Arzaq offices in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh, Jawzjan, Sar-e Pol, Faryab, Samangan, and Baghlan provinces.
He instructed the officials of these offices to pay special attention to improving administrative performance, ensuring the effective implementation of infrastructure projects, and maintaining and safeguarding the company's assets and properties.
During the visit, the provincial State -owned Corporation of Arzaq Directors briefed the CEO on the implementation of infrastructure projects, the status of company properties, administrative affairs, and ongoing activities in their respective provinces. They also presented recommendations and requests aimed at further improving operations.
Mawlawi Abdul Razaq Rafi also held separate meetings with officials from the provincial Directorates of Higher Education, Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs, and Education to strengthen coordination in the delivery and supply of food commodities. During these meetings, both sides emphasized expanding mutual cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining long-term collaboration.
Mr. Rafi also shared information about the company's efforts to enhance its services and operations. The participating officials expressed their satisfaction with the services and activities of the State Food Supplies Company.
The CEO assured the relevant authorities that the supply of food commodities to all concerned government institutions across the country would continue in an organized manner, with strong coordination and high quality, while practical efforts to further improve service delivery would be strengthened.
